About the Summit
Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2025, the MedBlueTech Summit 2026 consolidates its position as a meeting point for science, technology, and industry. This forum aims to boost competitiveness, digitalization, and the ecological transition of the Blue Economy across the Mediterranean basin.
The event receives institutional backing from ImpulsAlicante, reinforcing the city of Alicante as a hub of opportunity and a benchmark urban living lab for the development of sustainable, innovative projects.

The technical sessions will be structured around four strategic pillars:

Green & Digital Ports: Featuring contributions from Fundación Valenciaport and the Port Authority of Alicante.

Sustainable Aquaculture and Blue Biotechnology: Highlighting key projects such as MEDALG and 2B-Blue.

In addition, the program will feature interactive workshops organized by AEI Medinnova and GALP to foster strategic partnerships and synergies among participants.
1st Sea Positive Awards
A major highlight of this year's summit is the final stage and presentation of the inaugural Sea Positive Awards, created to acknowledge and highlight initiatives that generate a direct, positive impact on ocean health.
Finalist projects will present their initiatives to an expert panel across three categories:
